What is The Vegan Society, and what does it mean that Artistry Skin Nutrition products are registered with them?

A dedicated and experienced team checks each individual product application against the criteria and queries any potential inclusion of animal ingredients, including those not present in the final product.

The paper carton is recyclable in areas where appropriate facilities exist.
Is Multi-Defense UV Protect compatible with other Artistry skin care products?
Yes, Multi-Defense UV Protect was created to be aesthetically compatible with other Artistry Skin Nutrition and Artistry products. However, when adding a product to your skin care routine, it is always a good practice to only introduce one new product at a time and to wait at least one week before introducing any other new products. If you experience unwanted skin sensations or discomfort, try reducing the frequency and amount of product used. If you still experience discomfort with reduced usage, discontinue use. Since our formulas are powerful, we recommend that you personalize your skin care routine based on your own perceived skin sensitivity.
Can I use Multi-Defense UV Protect with my current Artistry Skin Nutrition regimen?
Yes! Multi-Defense UV Protect is an essential part of your Artistry Skin Nutrition regimen. Every morning, apply Multi-Defense UV Protect as the last step in your AM skin care regimen (cleanse, tone, treat, moisturize, SPF).
Do you have to wait a certain amount of time after applying the Multi-Defense UV Protect before you can go out in the sun?
No, you can go right out into the sun. It is, however, recommended to wait 10–15 minutes before swimming to let the formula fully soak in for the full water-resistance benefit.
How often do I need to reapply Multi-Defense UV Protect?
Sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours.
Can I use Multi-Defense UV Protect on top of my Artistry Skin Nutrition moisturizer with SPF 30?
Yes! However, the SPF values do not add together; the higher number indicates your level of protection. For example, if you layer SPF 50 over SPF 30, you’ll enjoy SPF 50 protection.
Do I need a makeup remover for this product?
You do not need a makeup-remover-specific product, but we always recommend washing your face at night with any Artistry cleanser.
Which is better: using a moisturizer with SPF included or using a moisturizer without SPF plus Multi-Defense UV Protect?
The answer is entirely up to your personal preference and the level of protection you want. Some customers prefer the all-in-one convenience of a moisturizer with SPF. Other customers prefer two separate products. And of course, you can always layer Multi-Defense UV Protect on top of a moisturizer with SPF. The choice is yours!
